Taiwans and their favourite hiding spots

The Taiwans love to hang out in this converted bird breeding box. I've seen as many as 3 heads sticking out of it at once.

The day that I took these, I was sitting on the computer and these two just sat there and stared at me without moving so I snapped a couple shots of them. It always amazes me how still they can be, and then they are so fast when they are moving or striking at food. I've grown to really appreciate these creatures for the amazing things that they are!

Dog Days of Summer

Neriol is such a sweet guy. He loves the kids and he's soooo good with them!
and of course, Daelin & his buddy Falkor who is also known as Fa-Fa and Honey!
I will be taking pictures of each of the animals and posting a little intro on the blog as soon as I can. Should be interesting!

The New Taiwan Enclosure!

Richard recently converted his budgie flight into a snake enclosure (he sold off all his budgies at the end of breeding season this year). There are 4 Taiwan Beauties in this enclosure and they are really enjoying it.
This is the tail end of one of the snakes as it took off into the enclosure for the first time.

Richard and his snakes

Here is Richard and a couple of his Taiwans. They have grown quite a bit since he bought them a few months ago! They will grow to be between 6-8 feet in length. That is Kaeleb's hand you can see in the second picture. He can't wait until he's old enough to hold them himself!

A New Blog!

I thought that I would start up a blog just for the animals. That way they have their own page and their own blog! I'll be taking some up to date pics in the next week or so and start posting! Enjoy!
